I'm currently going to school at The University Of The Arts in Philly! they persuaded me with lots and lots of money :3 and a brilliant rep. but anyway, college life is pretty sweet. i miss everyone a lot though. My bf and my bff (lol) especially. I'm close enough to home that i don't miss my family nearly as much though, so its not too bad.

but about the work we have to do..... foundation SUCKS. the only class that is helping me with anything important is drawing. we are learning about perspective and drawing things from life, which i can do anyway, but i'm getting more and more accurate at it now. at first though, all we did was take a bunch of dumb pieces of cut out pink and yellow and white paper and make colleges and then draw them. it was fine at first... until the 5th week of class, after i had done more collages in the first month or so of school than in my whole life. luckily just as i was about to explode we started dawing still lives.. well, more like just an object or two. but seriously, when you have euphoria and relief to be able to draw a STILL LIFE there is something wrong xD.

my 2D class is all about composition and LINES.. lines and lines and lines and lines -_- no color, no shape, no recognizable figures, NOTHING but lines and composition. which also gets very tedious and boring. but, im sure it will help me in the long run so, I'm just trying to do my best and stick with it untill i can get to real work and not just the annoying basics.

my 3D class is really fun though, at first it was horrifying, but then my teacher decided to be less intense, and i haven't had too much to do in that class but fun stuff.

art history is a pain, and my Writing class is like, as awesome as my high school english class.

so, most of the work i have been doing isnt worthy of puting on DA because its kinda lame/boring/looks alot like foundation year exercises... because thats what they are -_-

where to go.. where to go...

yeah...deciding on a college and getting everything ready is really lame. but, i've convinced my mom to not make me go to a county college in the "NJ Stars" program which would get me into college essentially for free, but stunt my eduactional growth for 2 years.- bleh. so yeah.. lookin at a few places, but its so stressfull trying to make decisions that will affect the rest of my life.

well, this has been the busiest summer in the history of summers for me. not too much art going on, except for this one piece ove been working on in my spare time. its a drawing of my cat that ive been working on entirely in photoshop. i was going to use corel painter, but for some reason i just decided against it. its turning out really cool anyway.
today, one of my days off, ive been pretty much draging my body around eating and playing DevilMayCry3 which is one of the most bangin games ever. (even though i kinda suck so bad they 'unlocked' easy mode for me, but whatever! im having fun! heh. anyhow, i think im gonna put up some deviations i never got around to posting. then maybe ill go take a shower or something.....

6 more days marks the end of school. yay!

hmm notmuch to say. my cars all messed up. and i have finals this week.. so that kinda sucks and im sunburnt ... but, this too shall pass. before i know it, i'll be layin out by the pool doin whatever the heck i feel like.

i have a job for the summer too.. but hopefully it wont drive me too crazy. i need money lol.

my birthday is in 8 DAYZ!!!!!!!!!

yay

then i get my license so i can drive by myself!!! wooo!

and then soon after is prom! more wooo!!!

and then SUMMERFINALYOHMYGOSH! - im pretty tired of this school stuff...

but then theres college to worry about.. its actually really freaking me out... but i'll get over it and eveything will work out. hopefully. i want to go to an art college... i know deffinitely that i am pursuing a career in art, my grades are very good my portfolio will be too... but im just hopin i get scholarships and stuff... havent taken the SATs yet either.. which is also freakin me out.... oy...

and ive been getting canker sores in my mouth... SO PAINFUL. the 2 i had lasted over a week of intense pain.

everyone i know is gone this weekend too... my boyfriend is on his senior trip to disney untill wednesday, my best friend is college viiting (another thing i have to do), and my sister is on a youth retreat all weekend...
so i went with my mom today and practiced driving like all day. There was actually some purpose behind it; we went on a distribution run for the NJ Angler (i illustrate for the magazine too^_^). we ended up at a mall and i got my prom dress at sears... just so happened the one i liked was majorly on sale too . and then i got some jewelry..... and then i came home and we didnt end up eating dinner untill almost 9:00pm.... and now im just rambling... birthday =8 days... teehee

but yeah, about this summer... why wont it get here fasterrrrrrrrr...!????
